"The Committee is charged with coordinating the acquisition and application of technologies of instruction in the RCOE and with recommending to the Dean of the RCOE changes, developments, and plans it believes will promote the most effective and efficient uses of technology within the college. Among the responsibilities of the committee are the following:

Develop an on-going 5 year action plan for the role of technology and media that promotes the integration of technologies into instruction in the RCOE; this plan should complement the unit plan of the RCOE and should take into consideration the impact of technology on:

Physical Facilities
Staffing and Personnel
Faculty Development
Instructional Programs
Alternative Delivery Systems

Oversee and coordinate faculty requests for equipment, including establishing policies and procedures for prioritizing acquisitions and insuring compatibility within the technology plan of RCOE.

Work closely with the Media Lab, Computer Labs, and Technology related grant projects to insure access, staffing, appropriate sharing of resources, acquisition of equipment, and overall use policies, and security issues." Policies and Procedures Handbook
